Joi Ito, Creative Commons staffers get involved

Joi Ito, well-known Japanese activist, entrepreneur, venture capitalist and CEO of Creative Commons has agreed to help the initiative "in any way that [he] can". This is a huge boost for the hours-old Open Cloud Initiative (OCI) and hopefully a sign of things to come. While claiming to be "not an expert" about the issue (nobody is, yet) he professed to be "deeply curious" about developments. We are very happy to have Joi on board and are very much looking forward to his valuable opinion and contributions.

Additionally he has offered to "rope in" some Creative Commons staff including VP Mike Linksvayer and CTO Nathan Yergler.

Mike has already given some great feedback on the Open Cloud Principles which is being incorporated and pointed at some simple, elegant fallback options for HTML5 video that we will use for our upcoming video content.

ようこそ (Welcome) Joi-san & Creative Commons.

ありがとうございます。(Thank you)
