Sam Ruby, a prominent software developer who has made significant contributions to many of the Apache Software Foundation's open source software projects, as well as to the standardization of web feeds via his involvement with the Atom web feed standard and the feedvalidator.org web service, has reviewed the Open Cloud Principles draft.
His main feedback was that "the concept of Interoperability is significantly in need of expansion". That's a fair comment (and one that was seconded by Oakleaf) and it's something we'll certainly be working on fleshing out over the coming days/weeks.
Sam says he'd "be willing to devote some cycles (low amounts over a period of time)" so we've asked him to cast an eye over the resulting document... given his extensive experience across the Internet/Apache/Ruby/REST landscape it's sure he'll have some valuable feedback so we look forward to hearing it. In the mean time his first review and the comments are worth a read.
